With the close of the first semester coming on this Friday, December 15th, we wanted to give you guys a couple of important notices.
Monday & Tuesday, December 11 & 12: Regular lab hours on campus from 3:30 - 6:30 pm. All zooms will remain the same for students to continue logging in to get their locked exams finish.
Wednesday, December 13: All zooms remain open for students to continue testing on the proctored zoom sessions and get any final help from the tutors.
Thursday, December 14: All zooms remain the same from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. There will be no lab on campus open. For students that need to continue testing, Mrs. Lori McCarty's zoom will be open from 3:30 PM - 6:30 PM.
Friday, December 15: This is the last day of the semester. All zoom hours will remain the same from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. All online courses will end at noon to allow the teachers time to start putting grades in.
There is a new change coming in second semester with attendance. For Delta Academy and your student to be in attendance compliance, each student must be logging into a zoom session, or be on campus, and clicking into every course. If your student is not completing these, then they are considered truant and will be removed from the program after 10 consecutive days. This is also important for your student's success. If they are completing these steps for attendance, completing the assigned work according to the Edgenuity Calendar, and completing locked exams, then there is no reason that they should not be successful.
NOTE: The staff at Delta Academy understands many students have anxiety about being on Zoom, but we will need to work together to get them through this fear. The weekly check-in will need to become a part of their routine. Your support and encouragement to get the students on Zoom will be very much appreciated!

Con el cierre del primer semestre este viernes 15 de diciembre, queríamos darles unos avisos importantes.
Lunes y martes, 11 y 12 de diciembre: horario regular de laboratorio en el campus de 3:30 a 6:30 p.m. Todos los zooms seguirán siendo los mismos para que los estudiantes continúen iniciando para finalizar sus exámenes.
Miércoles 13 de diciembre: Todos los zooms permanecen abiertos para que los estudiantes continúen con las pruebas en las sesiones de zoom supervisadas y obtengan ayuda de los tutores.
Jueves 14 de diciembre: Todos los zooms permanecen iguales de 8:00 a.m. a 3:00 p.m. No habrá ningún laboratorio abierto en el campus. Para los estudiantes que necesitan continuar con las pruebas, el zoom de la Sra. Lori McCarty estará abierto de 3:30 p.m. a 6:30 p.m.
Viernes 15 de diciembre: este es el último día del semestre. Todos los horarios de zoom seguirán siendo los mismos de 8:00 a.m. a 12:00 p.m. El curso en línea termina a las 12:00 p.m. para que los maestros tengan tiempo a calificar los exámenes.
Hay un nuevo cambio en el segundo semestre con la asistencia.
