Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Look no further than the Career Development Conference, an exciting statewide competition that showcases the skills of high school students. Hosted annually, this event allows students to compete in various events and display their talents. Only six students from each school will be selected to participate in the competition, and the top four will qualify to compete.

The competition consists of four components: entrepreneurship, employability skills, public speaking, and a digital/2D art competition. The J4NG commercial competition is another highlight of the event.

The Career Development Conference gives students the chance to gain valuable experience and network with other students, educators, and business professionals from across the state. Participants will also be provided with transportation, breakfast, and lunch.

The J4NG students were recently selected to attend the prestigious "Eggs & Issues" Breakfast with Congresswoman Susie Lee, where they received the VIP treatment from the Las Vegas Chamber. These bright young minds were given an incredible opportunity to interact with one of the most influential leaders in the state of Nevada. These students proudly represented Delta and the J4NG Program. These students are sharp and professional and its large in part to the great work we do at Delta.

Here is a terrific opportunity for a Senior of Hispanic or Latino descent with a 2.5 or higher GPA planning to attend an accredited college or university full-time in the fall.   The scholarship is for $5,000 and is renewable for 3 additional years.

The students in the Delta Academy J4NG Program are thrilled to extend an invitation to you for a special event that will celebrate my students achievements in the I & I. This event is one for the books – The J4NG DRAFTS!!! – and we want you to be a part of it. Wear your favorite sporting jersey to represent your team.

The ceremony is set to take place on October 20th, 2023, at 4:00 pm in the Delta Academy Cafeteria. This event will be a memorable one where students will be recognized for their participation and achievements. It would mean the world to us to have you there to share this special moment with us.

I wanted to inform you of a special opportunity for some of our students. Michael Williams, Byron Zelaya, Samantha Howard, and Robert Sanchez have been invited to have lunch with the state congress representatives as part of the Delta Academy J4NG Program. Our school was selected above all others to represent Jobs for Nevada's Graduates, which is a huge honor.
