RAPA has been chosen as the music conservatory wing of The Delta Academy. RAPA will infuse a state-of-the-art music program in the high school that will have a distinct focus on contemporary musical performance and theory for Vocals, Guitar, Bass, Keyboards, Drums, DJ/EDM, and Mariachi under the “Rock n Roll” musical genre umbrella. We are looking to tap into the potential of aspiring vocalists and musicians with the passion to pursue music performance as a career in the musical genre they choose such as Rock, Hip Hop, Pop, Country, Jazz, Mariachi, DJ/EDM and more. RAPA will accompany the instrumental music and vocal conservatories with a musical theater conservatory in the coming years. The musical theater conservatory will feature world-class musical theater program for students interested in singing, acting, instrumentation, and theater tech. In addition, RAPA will incorporate a rock-industry vocational technology conservatory for students interested in Digital Drafting, Rigging, Automation, SFX, Audio, Lighting Technology & Visualization, Movers, Media, and Rock ‘N’ Roll. With skills from this trade program, students will have the knowledge and tools ready to earn a living as concert promoters, recording engineers, lighting techs, stage handlers, audio engineers, and digital video specialists for live performances.
